I am looking for two things:
1. How can Semiotics knowledge help me become a better qualitative researcher? - both by utilising existing semiotically valid techniques and by developing my own
2. How can I best research "signs" that can be used for new product development or a new ad campaign? The expected outcome would be e.g. a product/ packaging that would elicit specific values or an ad that would build a certain brand image by using those "signs" within a cultural frame.
